Mike Wootten & Pietro Menga fight results!

Both guys fought MMA in liverpool tonight at OMMAC, the current home of MMA in Liverpool.

Pietro Menga vs Ally Macrae

Pietro came out with sharp muay thai striking and finished his opponent with a head kick 20 seconds into round 1. This is the 3^rd fight Pietro has had fighting underneath The MMA Academy in Liverpool’s banner, and he moves to 3-0 as a professional MMA fighter, big things to come in the future, video will follow soon! Congrats!

Mike Wootten vs Mark Connor

Mike fought a great fight against an experienced Mark Connor tonight, this was Marks 14^th professional MMA Bout and he has wins over some quality uk based bantamweights, Mike took a unanimous decision tonight and showed some great striking and ground and pound skills, the result of a good training camp! This fight moves Mike to 4-0 as a professional. Congrats Mike, again big things to come in this guys future! Congrats!

Team Winners at Ground Control!

Better late than never!

This is a late post but if you didnt know the MMA Academy Liverpool took the team title at Ground Control Manchester. Ground Control is the largest submission grappling tournament in the UK, providing a stage for wrestlers, BJJ specialist , sambo specialists and grapplers from other disciplines to against each other.

The BJJ training and wrestling training at the MMA academy in Liverpool is paying off guys! good job!
